Add Images

Next you will want to add some related images that add visual appeal to you site.  If these images contain text then be aware that the Search Engines will be unable to read these words so they will not contribute to your ranking.

To add text that can be read you should use the HTML ALT tag.  This will allow you to add 1 – 2 short sentences that describe the image.  You should not try and stuff the ALT tag with lists of keywords as this would not describe the picture.  However the sentences that you compose to describle the picture should contain important keywords to improve your ranking.
